Why Tri-coded?

AutoGen only offers tri–coded tubes. Tri-coded tubes are permanently laser etched, 2D-code on the base, a 1D (linear barcode) and a Human-Readable Number on the side and offer unequaled sample audit traceability, enabling sample tracking and data sharing between multiple users, labs, locations and automation capabilities. Samples are processed and shipped all over the world. Everywhere those samples go, they may encounter a different identification and processing protocol. Not every location will have access to 2D rack scanners and barcode readers. Or, they simply have a process in place to double or triple verify a sample ID. We believe the best way to capture the critical barcode information on your critical samples is with tri-coded identification.
