GeneFiX™ Saliva DNA Collector

The GeneFix™ is an easy-to-use and highly economical DNA saliva collection device designed to preserve and stabilize DNA for up to 5 years.  Saliva collections of up to 2 ml mixed with pre-filled stabilization buffer, form a complete working solution ready for DNA extraction.  This device is suitable for field collection, home use, and clinic-based sampling.

The collector can be paired with one of AutoGen’s extraction workflows or your existing workflow, allowing labs to significantly lower operating costs when compared to other devices in the marketplace.

The collection tube is pre-filled with a fully tested and chemically optimized stabilization buffer, and the simple screw-on funnel enables the saliva sample to be delivered directly and quickly into the buffer. The unique design of the collection tubes prevents spillage and flow back even when the tube is accidentally knocked over. In addition, the collection tubes are produced to allow for leakproof transport and are designed for either manual or more automated applications with printed bar codes and cap options suitable for auto de-capping.
